Why don't F1 teams have their own F2 teams?

I don’t think so ,there is a specific reason for that . Formula 1 guys already have a lot to go through for managing there formula 1 teams , yet then trying to manage a formula 2 team will pile up the difficulties and complexities . And ,when you have money really , why not invest in your F1 car , and make the season last better than invest in an F2 team . When you already are competing in tier 1 , I think you will never want to compete in lower tiers again . So Formula 1 teams go for junior driver programs instead by managing and funding future talent. Take Mclaren for example , they do compete in another open wheel championship , the Indycar , but that too is a top tier . Well , I suggest you better ask the CEO or Chairman of an F1 team to get a better answer .
