How slow would an average person be with a Formula 1 in a circuit such as Silverstone compared to Formula 1 drivers?

 

You can see the laps of Matt Gallagher ,Adrian Newey and everyone else who drove F1 cars . The difference is roughly 15–17 seconds . And it also depends a lot on how much sim driving they do. The people who do a lot of sim racing and play Codemasters F1 games ,they stand a better chance to go fast .But there was a motogp man who was so fast in F1 car ,that Ferrari F1 team were ready to talk to FIA for a third car on F1 grid . And he had no four wheel racing experience .Maybe you have already thought of him . He was Valentino Rossi . He was lightening fast in Schumacher’s F2004 and was ready to switch to F1 from MotoGP. It didn't happen and the rest is history .
