I think both sports need the same amount of skill . Though at the same time I do also believe that driving a car off-road and yet fast is a bit difficult than driving on a track . But I might be wrong. The level of g forces that F1 drivers have to counter ,makes driving an F1 car just like flying a fighter jet . So as a conclusion we can say it takes equal amount of skill to either drive a car off-road too fast ,or to handle 1000+ horsepower to your rear wheels through some high g corners .
